I LOVE LOVE LOVE this supermarket. Prices are always great and the selection of Everything: produce, spices, meats it's incredible. I like making my own tea blends and this place is a great spot to get ingredients. We also feed 4 tortoises daily and this is one of the only places you can get dandelions in Johnson county. Their bakery is absolutely amazing! The cakes are beautiful and they taste just as good as they look. If you like international foods and cooking you must give World Fresh Market a shot. You won't be sorry. But if you are expecting a fancy upscale looking grocer--this isn't it. It's clean, staff is friendly, but they didn't break the bank on decor.--and I love that.

So there are grocery stores and then… there is the World Fresh Market. The fresh produce alone is worth the trip, but then you continue to find treasures down each aisle. It truly felt like I traveled around the world in an hour. I will definitely be back!

I bought an Eastern European pastry called “belyash.” The price was $14. Unfortunately, this product was extremely disappointing. The filling inside was some kind of strange, unidentifiable mixture, but there was absolutely no meat in it at all. A belyash is supposed to contain meat, and this product had nothing in common with a real belyash. The taste and quality were unacceptable. It was impossible to eat, so I had to throw it away.

PROs: Great location. It was packed (best to go during the weekdays ~ I think). Large variety of international products. Larger variety of produce compared to commercial grocery stores. Wide variety of tasty pastries. Came for a gyro sandwich and it was good. CONs: Parking is a zoo. Best to inspect produce for quality. Watch cashiers ring items, a couple of times we were charged for a different item with a higher price tag.

After hearing so many people talk about and praise World Fresh Market, we finally decided to visit.Finding parking itself was so difficult! What can I say!it was extremely crowded.But honestly, that makes sense because this market has almost everything. You can find Asian, Mediterranean, and many other international items here. Start with the fresh vegetables and fruits.Amazed to find Lychees & Coconut here.In the Asian section,I saw Korean probiotic food like kimchi, yogurt drinks, Chinese homemade noodles, tofu & miso. Along with chicken eggs, they also had duck eggs and quail eggs! There were rice varieties from Thailand and Korea as well. However, Muslims should be careful when buying halal food here,as not everything is halal.For example, some noodles and meat items may not be halal,so it is better to check the label carefully. If something is halal, it is usually mentioned.They have variety of tea & coffee,bought 3in1 coffee,convenient at workplace. I was happy to see udon and soba noodles. They also had Palestinian black olives and bread, Indo Mie noodles, Turkish delight, and baklava.Honestly, it was hard to decide what to choose! They had Shan spices and other items like p
